Instructions

1-First Step: Prep the Pasta Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the 1 lb dried elbow pasta. Cook it 1 minute less than the package directions for al dente to avoid mushiness. Drain the pasta and drizzle it with olive oil to keep it from sticking, setting the stage for a creamy texture.

2-Second Step: Make the Cheese Sauce In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the 1/2 cup unsalted butter.
