4-Top the mixture with 2 cups of grated Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese, then cover and cook for about 3 minutes until the cheese melts perfectly.

5-Finally, garnish with sour cream if desired and serve warm with tortilla chips for a complete dish that serves 8 people in just around 13 minutes.
