Ingredients

– 1 unbaked pie crust

– 3 eggs

– 1 cup light corn syrup

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 tablespoons melted butter, slightly cooled

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey

– 1 ยฝ cups coarsely chopped pecans

– 2 tablespoons melted butter

– 3 eggs

– 1 cup light corn syrup

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and position the oven rack in the center.

2-Line a 9-inch pie dish with the unbaked pie crust and place it in the freezer while preparing the filling.

3-In a medium bowl, lightly whisk the eggs. Stir in the corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and bourbon until well combined. Mix in the chopped pecans.

4-Remove the pie crust from the freezer and pour the filling into the chilled crust.

5-Bake on the center rack for 60 to 65 minutes until the center is set.

6-Allow the pie to cool completely before serving to ensure the filling sets properly.
