– 4 cups (452g) powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for salted caramel frosting)

Instructions

1-In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter and caramel sauce. Cream them together until the butter is evenly mixed and chunky in the caramel.

2-Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat on medium-high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3-If making salted caramel buttercream, mix in ยฝ to 1 teaspoon sea salt to taste.
