– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with high-heat-resistant parchment paper. Arrange the 8 chicken drumsticks in a single layer on the sheet.

2-In a medium bowl, mix the 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, Β½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, and ΒΌ teaspoon cayenne pepper to create a seasoning paste.

3-Next, coat the drumsticks evenly with the paste using a pastry brush or your hands. Place them in the oven and bake uncovered for about 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165Β°F (74Β°C) when checked away from the bone.

4-After 30 minutes, check if they’re browning too quickly and loosely cover with foil if needed.

5-Once done, baste with pan juices and garnish with chopped parsley if you like.
