Ingredients

– 9 cups corn or rice cereal the base that adds crunch and structure

– 3 cups chocolate chips provides the rich, melty chocolate coating

– 3/4 teaspoon pure coconut extract infuses a fresh, tropical flavor

– 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut for that delightful texture and sweetness

– 1/3 cup powdered sugar helps coat and sweeten the mix evenly

Instructions

1-Pour the 9 cups of corn or rice cereal into a large bowl and set it aside for easy mixing.

2-In a medium microwavable bowl, melt the 3 cups of chocolate chips by heating for 1 minute, then stir; continue in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.

3-Stir in the 3/4 teaspoon of pure coconut extract into the melted chocolate to add that tropical twist.

4-Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until everything is well coated.

5-Mix in the 1 1/2 cups of shredded sweetened coconut until the cereal is evenly covered with that coconut goodness.

6-Spread the coated cereal onto two large baking sheets for even drying.

7-Sprinkle with the 1/3 cup of powdered sugar until well coated, giving it an extra sweet finish.

8-Let the mix sit until the chocolate is dry, about 15 minutes, then it’s ready to enjoy.
