๐Ÿฅฃ Cinnamon Sugar Baked Tortilla Bowls bring a sweet, crispy texture perfect for serving ice cream or desserts.
๐Ÿฏ This recipe is easy to prepare, offering a fun and tasty way to elevate your favorite treats with a homemade crunch.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6 bowls

Ingredients

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar for the sweet coating

– 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon adds warm spice

– 6 large flour tortillas (8-inch each) forms the bowl base

– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted helps crisp and adhere the sugar

Instructions

1- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF and prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients, including the tortillas, cinnamon sugar, butter, and ice cream.

2- In a small bowl, mix the 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, then set it aside.

3- Butter 6-inch round cake pans and set them aside for shaping.

4- Microwave the 6 large flour tortillas (8-inch each), covered with a damp paper towel, for about 20 seconds to make them pliable.

5- Brush both sides of each of the 6 large flour tortillas generously with the 3 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture liberally on both sides.

6- Place the prepared tortillas in the buttered cake pans, folding or pleating them to fit, and put a buttered ramekin or oven-safe container in the center of each to prevent puffing during baking.

7- Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the ramekin and flip the tortillas upside down before baking for an additional 8-10 minutes until crispy.

8- Remove from the oven and cool on wire racks to let them crisp further, then fill with your desired ice cream flavor.
