1/3 cup milk

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup minced onion

1.5 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend)

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (177ยฐC).

2-In a small bowl: whisk together 1 large egg, 1/3 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.

3-In another bowl: mix 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper.

4-Finely mince: 1/2 cup onion.

5-In a large bowl: combine 1.5 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend), the egg mixture, breadcrumb mixture, and minced onion. Gently mix with your hands until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

6-Shape the mixture: into a loaf about 8 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 2 inches tall on a rimmed baking sheet.

7-In a small bowl: mix 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon yellow mustard to make the glaze.

8-Spread the glaze: evenly over the top and sides of the meatloaf.

9-Bake: for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (74ยฐC).

10-Allow the meatloaf to rest: for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
