Ingredients

– Fresh strawberries (quantity as needed)

– 3 parts water

– 1 part white vinegar to combine with the water

– Optional baking soda

Instructions

1-Soak the fresh strawberries in a solution of 3 parts water and 1 part white vinegar for 15 minutes to kill bacteria and remove residues.

2-Do not rinse the strawberries after soaking to keep the protective effects intact.

3-Dry them thoroughly using a salad spinner lined with a towel, by patting dry with another towel, air drying, or gently using a blow dryer to ensure no moisture remains before storage.
