๐Ÿฅ„ Quick and easy to prepare, this elegant dip adds vibrant flavors and textures to your appetizer spread.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 to 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups frozen or fresh cranberries

1/4 cup maple syrup

Zest and juice of one orange

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

225 grams (8 ounces) feta cheese

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 teaspoon chili flakes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup chopped pistachios

1 to 2 tablespoons honey

Fresh thyme if desired

Instructions

1-Gather and Prep Ingredients: First, get everything ready: measure out 2 cups of cranberries, 225 grams of feta, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, and other items. Soften the feta by letting it sit at room temperature or using a quick blend. This step ensures your cranberry whipped feta dip recipe comes together without delays.

2-Cook the Cranberries: In a medium saucepan, combine the 2 cups cranberries, 1/4 cup maple syrup, zest and juice of one orange, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat, then simmer on medium-low for 6 to 10 minutes until the berries burst and thicken. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking, creating a jam-like topping for your dip.
Once done, remove from heat and let it cool. You can make this part ahead and store it in the fridge, as per the tips, to save time on the day of your gathering.

3-Whip the Feta Base: Next, blend the 225 grams feta cheese, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes, and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a food processor until smooth and creamy. If you don’t have one, a hand blender or mixer works fine. This step gives you the fluffy base that makes this easy cranberry feta dip so irresistible.

4-Assemble and Serve: Spread the whipped feta in a shallow bowl, then layer on the cooled cranberry mixture. Top with 1/4 cup chopped pistachios, 1 to 2 tablespoons honey, and fresh thyme if you like. Serve with crostini, crackers, or pita bread for a complete appetizer.
