Instructions
1-Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large pot over low heat.
2-Add 1/2 white onion, diced, and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
3-Stir in 1 clove garlic, minced, and cook for 30 seconds.
4-If using, add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute.
5-Gradually whisk in 3 cups chicken broth and 2 cups half-and-half.
6-Add 8 ounces softened cream cheese and stir until smooth.
7-Stir in 1 1/4 cups shredded Swiss cheese until fully melted.
8-Add 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken and 1 cup diced ham, then heat through.
9-Serve hot and enjoy!
