🍽️ This recipe is quick and easy, perfect for a flavorful weeknight meal that satisfies your cravings.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp

– 4 finely minced garlic cloves

– 1 cup fresh spinach

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese

– 1/8 teaspoon red crushed pepper (optional)

– 1 tablespoon butter

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1-First, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides for extra flavor.

2-Cook the shrimp for 30 seconds per side until they turn pink, then remove them from the skillet to keep them juicy.

3-Next, add more oil if needed and cook the garlic and red crushed pepper for 15 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

4-Stir in the fresh spinach, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until it wilts down.

5-Pour in the heavy cream and add the parmesan cheese, stirring to combine, then let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes until the sauce thickens up nicely.

6-Finally, return the shrimp to the skillet, cover, and cook for 30 seconds over low heat to blend the flavors. Garnish with fresh parsley if you like before serving.

Notes

🌿 Use fresh spinach and cook it before adding the cream for best texture and flavor.
🍷 Optionally add a splash of white wine after garlic and crushed pepper, reducing it by half before adding cream.
🍝 Double the sauce if serving with pasta and consider adding mushrooms, onions, or zucchini for extra depth.
