Β½ tablespoon light soy sauce or liquid aminos

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Β½ teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Β½ teaspoon sea salt

2 teaspoons cornstarch with up to 2 extra teaspoons for more crispiness

1 teaspoon sesame oil or any oil

ΒΌ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

1-First Step: Drain and press the extra firm tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess moisture, helping it crisp up beautifully in the air fryer.

2-Second Step: Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes or tear it into pieces for even cooking and a uniform texture.

3-Third Step: In a medium bowl, place the tofu and add the soy sauce or liquid aminos, tossing to coat evenly for great flavor.

4-Fourth Step: Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sea salt, cornstarch, sesame oil, and ground black pepper; toss thoroughly to combine all seasonings with the tofu.

5-Fifth Step: Arrange the seasoned tofu pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure there’s space around each piece for even air flow.

6-Sixth Step: Set your air fryer to 400Β°F and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, around 5 minutes, to promote even browning.

7-Final Step: Remove the tofu after cooking and let it cool slightly before serving it up with your favorite sides or in a meal.
