🍫 Enjoy easy homemade sweet treats with this Crockpot Candy recipe, perfect for any candy lover craving a quick and delicious snack.
⏳ With simple ingredients and slow cooker convenience, you can make large batches effortlessly for sharing or gifting.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 40 minutes
  • Yield: About 100 clusters

Ingredients

– 1 cup salted peanuts

– 1 cup unsalted peanuts

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

– 1 cup German chocolate (or substitute with an additional 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips if unavailable)

– 1 cup peanut butter chips

– 1 cup almond bark (vanilla-flavored candy coating made from vegetable fats, not containing almonds)

– Optional: extra chocolate chips and sea salt for garnish

Instructions

1-First, combine the salted peanuts, unsalted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, German chocolate, peanut butter chips, and almond bark in the bowl of your slow cooker. Cover it with the lid and set it to low heat, letting the ingredients begin to melt without rushing the process.

2-Once you notice the mixture starting to melt, give it a good stir and continue cooking for 1 to 2 hours. Remember to stir well each time you check, which helps everything blend smoothly. After that, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto it to form clusters.

3-In the first step, gather all your items and lightly prepare your slow cooker to avoid any sticking. Next, mix the ingredients as described, ensuring they’re evenly distributed. Then, cook on low and stir every 30 minutes for the best consistency. For total timing, expect about 5 minutes of prep, 2 hours and 15 minutes of cooking, and 20 minutes to chill, bringing the whole process to around 2 hours and 40 minutes.

4-Once your mixture is thick and glossy, spread it out to cool. Refrigerate the clusters until they’re fully set, and feel free to make adjustments for dietary needs right from the start. This method gives you about 100 tasty pieces, perfect for sharing with friends or family.

Notes

πŸ₯œ You can adjust nut types by using salted or unsalted peanuts, or substitute with other nuts such as cashews.
🍬 Almond bark differs from white chocolate as it is made from vegetable fats and contains no almonds.
πŸ”₯ Alternatively, melt chocolates and almond bark on stovetop over low heat for about 15 minutes, stir in nuts, portion, and chill for a different method.
