– 2 cod filets (5-6 oz each) the main protein, offering a mild and flaky base

– 1 tablespoon green onions, sliced diagonally (optional garnish) adds color and a fresh finish to the dish

Instructions

1-First: mix all the glaze components in a small bowl to create a smooth sauce.

2-Next: pat the cod filets dry and place them in a dish, then brush with 1 tablespoon of the glaze and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours don’t forget to save the rest for later.

3-Preheat: your oven to low broil on the center rack and line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

4-Once ready, place the cod on the pan and brush it with more glaze.

5-Broil: on low for 12-14 minutes, adding reserved glaze every 2-3 minutes until it’s all used up.

6-Finally, switch to high broil for 4-5 more minutes until the fish is browned and reaches an internal temperature of 135-140Β°F, then garnish and serve.
