🍫 Delight in the rich and fudgy texture of these Best Homemade Brownies, perfect for satisfying any chocolate craving.
πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ This recipe offers simple ingredients and steps for a moist, decadent treat that’s easy to bake at home.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 53 minutes
  • Yield: 16 brownies

Ingredients

– 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

– 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

– 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder sifted if lumpy

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar sifted if lumpy

– 1/2 cup large chocolate chips

– 3/4 teaspoon salt

– 2 eggs

– 1/2 cup oil canola oil recommended; olive oil can be used for a richer flavor

– 2 tablespoons water

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325Β°F (163Β°C). Lightly spray an 8Γ—8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, spraying the paper as well to ensure easy removal.

2-In a medium bowl: combine 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (sifted if lumpy), 1/2 cup powdered sugar (sifted if lumpy), 1/2 cup large chocolate chips, and 3/4 teaspoon salt.

3-In a large bowl: whisk together 2 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, 2 tablespoons water, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.

4-Sprinkle the dry ingredients over the wet mixture and fold gently until just combined. The batter will be thick, which is perfect for that fudgy texture.

5-Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula for uniform baking.

6-Bake for 40 to 48 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remember, undercooking slightly helps maintain a moist center.

7-Let cool completely, about two hours, before slicing. This step ensures the brownies set properly for the best taste and texture.
