– 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
– 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
– 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 3/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
– 1/3 to 1/2 cup pizza sauce
– 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
– 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
– 3 to 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
– 1/2 cup ham, roughly chopped
– 1/2 cup hot sausage, cooked and crumbled
– 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
– Ground black pepper for topping
Instructions
1-Combine 1/2 cup warm water, 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast, and 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar; stir to dissolve and let it proof until bubbly.
2-In a mixing bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour and 3/4 teaspoon salt. Slowly add the yeast mixture on low speed, then increase speed while adding 1 tablespoon olive oil if desired. Mix until the dough forms a ball and pulls from the bowl sides.
3-Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
4-Cook the bacon and sausage; chop the bacon and ham, then crumble the sausage.
5-Preheat the oven to 425ยฐF and grease a baking sheet with olive oil; shape the dough to your desired size.
6-Spread 1/3 to 1/2 cup pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese and half of the 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella.
7-Add the cooked bacon, ham, sausage, and 1/4 cup pepperoni slices on top.
8-Finish with the remaining mozzarella and a sprinkle of ground black pepper.
9-Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is crisp, then serve warm.
