4-Add the 1 (12 oz) bag of fresh or frozen cranberries, the orange zest, and a pinch of salt; return the mixture to a boil.
5-Reduce the heat to medium and boil gently for 10 to 12 minutes, until most cranberries burst open; mash them slightly if you prefer a smoother texture.
6-Transfer the sauce to a bowl, cover it, and chill until youβre ready to serve for the best flavor.
