– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
– 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) pecan pieces
Instructions
1-Preheat oven to 350ยฐF. Combine crust ingredients: mix 8 tablespoons room-temperature unsalted butter, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1 cup all-purpose flour until crumbly. Press into the pan.
2-Bake crust 20 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
3-Whisk filling: 3/4 cup corn syrup, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir in 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces.
4-Pour over hot crust.
5-Bake 25 to 30 minutes until set and dark golden.
6-Cool 1 1/2 hours on wire rack. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
7-Slice into 12 pieces. Enjoy!
