Ingredients
– 2 packs of Kielbasa (12 oz each)
– 10 oz pasta
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp pepper
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
– 2 tablespoons minced garlic
– 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
– 1 1/4 cups shredded Parmesan cheese (preferably freshly shredded)
– Dried parsley for garnish
Instructions
1-Cook the pasta according to package instructions for about 10 minutes until it’s just right, then drain and set it aside.
2-Slice the 2 packs of Kielbasa (12 oz each) into thin rounds and cook them in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, which takes around 5 minutes; remove and set aside.
3-In the same skillet, melt the 1 stick butter (1/2 cup) over medium heat and add the 2 tablespoons minced garlic, stirring for about a minute to release the aroma.
4-Pour in the 1 1/4 cups heavy cream while stirring constantly, then add the 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp Italian seasoning; bring to a simmer.
5-Gradually stir in the 1 1/4 cups shredded Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens smoothly, adjusting heat to medium to avoid clumping.
6-Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well, then top with the cooked Kielbasa slices.
7-Garnish with dried parsley and extra shredded Parmesan, then serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
