🍫 Treat yourself to easy white chocolate truffles that make for luxurious homemade sweets.
⏰ Quick to prepare with simple ingredients, they are perfect for gifting or indulgent snacking.

  • Total Time: 4 hours
  • Yield: About 30 truffles

Ingredients

– 1-1/2 cups white chocolate chips (preferably made with real cocoa butter)

– 1-1/2 tablespoons butter

– 1/2 cup whipping cream

– 2-1/2 cups white chocolate melting wafers

– 2 cups milk chocolate melting wafers (optional)

– Pink sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1-First, combine the 1-1/2 cups white chocolate chips and 1-1/2 tablespoons butter in a glass bowl.

2-Next, heat the 1/2 cup whipping cream to a boil in a saucepan, then pour it over the chocolate mixture and let it rest for a moment.

3-Whisk the mixture until it’s smooth, then refrigerate it for at least 2 hours until it’s set.

4-Scoop the chilled mixture into balls on parchment paper and refrigerate again to firm up.

5-Shape the balls carefully, then melt the 2-1/2 cups white chocolate melting wafers (and 2 cups milk chocolate melting wafers if desired).

6-Dip the shaped balls into the melted chocolate and let them set on parchment paper.

7-Finish by trimming the edges, drizzling with more melted chocolate, and adding pink sprinkles if you like.

Notes

🍫 Use white chocolate chips made with real cocoa butter to ensure the right texture and flavor.
❄️ Keep the ganache chilled and firm enough to shape but still soft for easy handling.
πŸ₯› Avoid low-fat cream; if ganache is too runny, gently reheat to 95-100Β°F and whisk or add a little milk.
